SENIOR SCHOOLBOYS CUP [Yr 11 & 12]
The Senior Schoolboys Cup offers a well organised and high quality football competition, catering for over 3000 students from country and metropolitan schools throughout WA. 2026 marks the 39th year of the competition which is coordinated by the West Australian Football Commission and the Secondary School Football Advisory Committee
(SSFAC).
School Sport WA and the West Australian Football Commission work in close partnership to deliver this quality competition.
The competition targets students in Years 11 and 12.
The competition is played during Term 2. Games will be played after school on WEDNESDAYS over 2 x 25 minute halves.
The SSFAC reviews all nominations and reserves the right to change a school’s nominated division to achieve a balanced competition.
There are 3 metropolitan divisions (Top, Jakovich & Glendinning)
TOP DIVISION (A Grade): Strong football schools with home & away games played across the metropolitan area.
GLEN JAKOVICH DIVISION (B Grade): Schools of medium strength with home & away games played ‘locally’ where possible.
ROSS GLENDINNING DIVISION (C Grade): 15-a-side competition for weaker schools with home & away games played ‘locally’ where possible (no scoring or finals).
WALKER DIVISION: For schools who participate in ‘A’ Division at Senior High School Country Week.
COUNTRY SCHOOLS: All competitions are coordinated by your local WAFC Regional Development Specialist.

EAGLES SCHOOLBOYS CUP [Yr 8 & 9]
The Eagles Schoolboys Cup is an interschool competition for boys in Years 8 & 9. The competition enters its 43rd year in 2026 and is coordinated by the West Australian Football Commission.
All schools that nominate receive a leather match ball to use during the competition.
The competition is played during Terms 2 & 3 (Please refer to timeline).
Home and away games played across both metropolitan and regional areas.
Managed by WAFC Development Office and Regional Development Specialists.
WAALITJ DIVISION (A Grade): Strong football schools with home & away games played across the metropolitan area.
EAGLE DIVISION (B Grade): Schools of medium strength with home & away games played ‘locally’ where possible.
