Postponement of SSWA AGM

The AGM scheduled for this Thursday will not go ahead as planned.

We have just received notification from the Auditor that the Audit Report will not be completed in time for the AGM scheduled for 4pm this Thursday 25th March.

The decision has been made to re-schedule the AGM.

Further details about the new meeting date will be circulated following the SSWA Management Meeting on Thursday.

The new date will most likely be early May.

Boys 16s Hockey Squad Announced

The Bevan George Shield returned for Trial 1 of the SSWA U16’s Boys Hockey Team on Friday 19 March 2021.

SSA announces cancellation of 2021 Championships

School Sport Australia [SSA] has just announced the cancellation of all National Championships for 2021. This decision was based on the uncertainty around students and staff being permitted to travel to SSA Championships. SSA is hopeful of a resumption of competition in 2022.

School Sport WA [SSWA] Management Committee has decided to ask all volunteer team officials to continue to select State Teams for 2021 and provide local opportunities for our teams.  State Team trials will continue as published on the SSWA website. Details of the experiences that will be provided for selected teams will be finalised over the next few weeks and also published on the SSWA website.
