Trial Cost
$20.00
Please be advised that if selected:
The cost of a HOME CHAMPIONSHIP will be approximately $800 – $1500 depending on the accommodation option.
The cost of an AWAY CHAMPIONSHIP will be between $2000 – $2700 dependent on venue and time on tour.
Travel Model
The School Sport WA preferred travel model is for students to travel as a team and accommodate with their parent/guardian. Flights have been pre booked and deposits paid for all athletes and officials.  If individuals opt off the group flight booking, a $50 cancellation fee will be charged upon final invoice.
Any variation to this model will be communicated at the parent information meeting.

Venue – Murdoch University Playing Field Nets
Discovery Way, off South Street
South of River Clubs – 9.30am to 1.00pm.
Claremont- Nedlands, Fremantle, Gosnells, Melville, Perth, Rockingham-Mandurah, South Perth, Willetton.
North of River Clubs – 1.30pm to 4.00pm
Bayswater-Morley, Joondalup, Midland Guildford, Mount Lawley, Scarborough, Subiaco-Floreat, Wanneroo.
Please bring your own water and personal cricket gear for the session as well as joggers.
Country Boys – preference for pm trial but can trial am if suits.
Boys selected Post trials will be advised on SSWA website of selection and next training session. Final team is announced in April.
The Squad/Final team is continually under review and Players can be added or removed as circumstances may change – for example performances or injuries.

Trial 3:
Smaller group, Grass net format
Location: Belridge Secondary School or Wanneroo DCC [TBC]
Time: 9 am – 11 am
Date: Saturday 2nd of March 2024
Proposed practice match for the selected squad: Sunday, 24th March 2024

Championships are open to all West Australian students, whether or not they are members of an affiliated club.
Students must meet the following criteria:
* Be a full time student at a secondary school
* Be 15 years or under as of the 31 August in the year of competition
* Advise your school that you will be attending the trials
* Complete the online nomination form.
