The UWA Western Force Cup is a prominent inter-school rugby competition hosted in Western Australia, featuring the active participation of 15 Perth schools dedicated to the development and competition of rugby. The competition spans two terms, with Term 1 focused on 7’s and Term 2 dedicated to rugby 10s. This format not only provides an extended and immersive rugby experience for participating schools but also showcases the diversity of the game by featuring both shorter and more traditional formats across the academic year.

Conducting North Schools and South Schools Gala Days culminating in a grand finale for both terms adds an exciting competitive element to the UWA Western Force Cup. The prestigious finals will take place at McGarvey Oval, the esteemed home of the Western Force. This not only provides a fitting venue for showcasing the talents and sportsmanship of the participating schools but also amplifies the overall significance of the UWA Western Force Cup within the rugby community.

To ensure adequate support for teachers and the program, the collaboration between Rugby WA and the Western Force allows for the allocation of highly qualified rugby coaches to schools participating in the Western Force Cup. This initiative is designed to provide valuable expertise and guidance, enhancing the overall coaching and learning experience for both educators and students involved in the program.
